The short version
One Bam Board has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. It never sends your photos or your library anywhere.
What you make stays on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage, which we have no way to read. We collect nothing about you, so there is nothing for us to sell, share, or lose.
1. Who we are
One Bam Board is made by Inkwell Solutions, LLC, 2323 Clear Lake City Blvd, Ste 180-162, Houston, TX 77062, USA. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@inkwell.solutions.
2. What we collect
Nothing. That is the whole answer, and the rest of this section is only there so you can check it.
- No account and no sign-in. The app works on first launch. We never ask for your name, your email address, or a password, because there is nothing to sign in to.
- We operate no server for this app. The app makes no network requests of its own. There is no backend to receive anything.
- No analytics and no advertising. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or attribution software from us or from anyone else.
- No tracking. The app never asks for permission to track you across other apps and websites, because it does not do it.
3. Your photos
Bringing photos in
When you import a tile set, a mat, or a rack, you pick the image using Apple's own photo picker. That picker runs outside the app. The app receives only the specific images you choose and is never granted access to your photo library. This is why iOS does not ask you to grant photo permission: there is no permission to grant.
The camera
The app does not use your camera and does not ask for camera access.
Saving images out
If you save a tablescape to your photos, iOS asks you for add-only permission. That lets the app put a new image into your library and does not let it read anything already there. We asked for the narrower permission on purpose.
Extraction
Lifting tiles, mats, and racks off their backgrounds happens entirely on your device. No image is uploaded for processing.
4. What the app stores, and where
Your library, which is your tile sets, mats, racks, saved tables, plans, and what you have marked as owned, is stored on your iPhone.
If you are signed in to iCloud, that library also syncs through your own private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. Private means it lives in your Apple account, under your Apple ID. We cannot read it, list it, or recover it, and no copy of it reaches us at any point. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app still works and your library simply stays on the one device.
5. Purchases
The unlock is a one-time purchase made through the App Store. Apple processes it. We never see your payment card, your billing address, or your Apple ID. Apple provides us only aggregated sales reporting, which does not identify individual buyers.
6. When you leave the app
- Opening a seller's listing hands you over to your browser or to that seller's own app. What happens there is governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
- Sharing a tablescape to Messages, Instagram, or anywhere else is something you start. Once an image leaves the app, the receiving service's terms and privacy policy apply to it.
7. Children
The app is rated 4+. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no way for users to message one another inside the app.
8. Deleting your data
Because we hold nothing about you, there is nothing to request from us. You are in full control of every copy:
- Delete individual tile sets, mats, racks, tables, and plans inside the app.
- Deleting the app removes the copy on that device.
- Remove the iCloud copy in Settings, then your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage, where One Bam Board can be deleted along with its data.
9. Your rights
Privacy laws give you rights to access, correct, port, and delete the personal information a company holds about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information, so there is nothing held about you to act on. We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
That answer is the same whether you are covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, another US state law, or Canada's PIPEDA. If you would like it confirmed in writing for your own records, write to hello@inkwell.solutions and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Security
The strongest security measure here is structural: we do not hold your data, so it cannot be taken from us. What is on your device is protected by your device passcode and iOS data protection. What is in iCloud is protected by your Apple account and its security settings, including two-factor authentication.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything material will be described here rather than quietly edited in. If the app ever starts collecting something, this page will say so before it does.
12. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
